The music industry in the country is about to experience a historical change as the first ever music production and deejay boot camp is set to take place this coming August courtesy of the Monster Radio crew.
Monster Bass Camp as it is called will take place at The Punda Milia Camp in Nakuru & will run from 3rd-8th August. It will cater for teens between the ages of 13-17 who aspire to be Djs, music producers or artists.
During this one week period the campers will get to hang out with professional music instructors, Djs & artists who will give out advise and share their experiences. Some of the Djs involved include Dj Nruff, Dj E, Dvj Mobi, Will The Dj, Dj Shock & music producer Dillie.
They will see a partnership between Monster Radio, Blu Frame Africa, Braeburn Group Of Schools & Sounds Creations LTD. Registration fee for the camp goes for USD $500.
I believe this is a great project that will have massive impact on our music industry as it will provide a platform for different people in the music scene to come together brainstorm & share ideas thereby allowing room for growth & also help young boys and girls gain immense knowledge on whatever music path they choose.
